Family Shield Sunday
What is a Family Shield Sunday?
A Family Shield Sunday is a Sunday or weekend when a congregation focuses on learning about Family Shield Ministries and promotes its services and ministries to their members.
To make it easier for congregations to host a Family Shield Sunday, we have gathered Christ-centered resources for the congregations to use.
The resources include: a double sided bulletin insert that can be copied and printed so members can learn about Family Shield Ministries, a 3-minute Family Shield video that can be played during the worship service or in the fellowship area that overviews the ministry.
There is a worship program, and a sermon that were written by the Family Shield Ministries Board chairman, Rev. Roger Sonnenberg of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Arcadia, California. There are also several children�s messages available for the children�s sermon that have been written by Kay L. Meyer, the founder and president of Family Shield.
