FAMILY SHIELD RADIO PROGRAM EXPANDS AGAIN

Family Shield Ministries announced today that beginning in September the Family Shield radio program will begin airing on 49 new radio stations and Internet sites in 25 states. Family Shield Ministries mission is: to educate and equip people to know Christ, grow in His Word, and strengthen individuals and their families. 

Kay L Meyer is the founder and president of Family Shield Ministries and the host of the radio program. She is a popular speaker and author of many books, devotions, and articles for both children and adults. 

Program topis are relevant to issues individuals and families face in today's world. They are designed to encourage, uplift, motivate, and equip listeners to look to the Lord and grow in their faith.

FAMILY SHIELD MINISTRIES AGAIN APPROVED AS A RECOGNIZED SERVICE ORGANIZATION (RSO) OF THE LUTHERAN CHURCH MISSOURI  SYNOD

Family Shield was recently approved as a Recognized Service Organization (RSO) under The Board for Mission Services (LCMS World Missions). The previous Family Shield RSO status was under the Board for Congregation and District Services of the LCMS.

The Board for Mission Services (LCMS World Mission) exists to strengthen congregations and their members in giving bold witness by word and deed to the love and work of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and extend that Gospel witness into the world. All RSO's are Lutheran not-for-profit, tax-exempt service organization that exist to extend the mission and ministry of the congregations of the Synod and acts in harmony with the purposes and programs of LCMS World Mission.

The Family Shield Board of Directors asks for your prayers as we continue to work with the LCMS in Gospel outreach and share God's love through Christ with those still in darkness. "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people fo God: once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy" (1 Peter 2:9-10).
