Family Shield, hosted by Kay L. Meyer, the founder and president of Family Shield Ministries, is a weekly radio program that has been aired since 1996. Until November of 2010 it was an hour-long program. It is now a half-hour program aired on 50 radio stations in 25 states, as well as on Satellite/Internet sites that can be heard throughout the United States and the world. The program addresses family life, spiritual growth, prayer, and learning to witness. It is a production of Family Shield Ministries. Program guests are members of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) and Christian leaders with knowledge and expertise in a wide variety of areas related to Christianity and family ministry.
